How to Build a Production-Ready Tech Pack
A complete tech pack reduces assumptions, quotation changes and sample revisions.
What brands need to know
A production-ready technical pack should contain front and back flats, detail drawings, bill of materials, fabric composition and finished GSM, colour references, point-of-measure chart, construction notes, seam and stitch requirements, artwork dimensions and placement, labels, packaging and revision history. Measurements need named reference points and tolerances. The document should distinguish desired appearance from mandatory specification and identify unresolved choices. One controlled revision file prevents teams from working from conflicting instructions.
