Custom Labels, Hangtags and Garment Packaging
Branding components need content, dimensions, placement and compliance approval.
What brands need to know
A private-label packing specification may include main label, size label, care and composition label, country of origin, hangtag, barcode, polybag, tissue, sticker and export carton marks. Each component can have its own minimum quantity and lead time. Care content must match the actual fibre and tested garment. Barcode format, folding, size assortment and carton ratio should be supplied before packing. Highly customised hardware and packaging can cost more than expected at startup quantities.
Production checklist
- Verify legal label content
- Approve dimensions and placement
- Provide barcode data early
- Define folding and carton assortment
How this affects your quotation
A reliable quotation depends on the final design, construction, fabric, GSM, colours, size range, quantity per style and colour, branding, packing, delivery country and target date. Commercial feasibility and material availability are reviewed before a price is confirmed.
